A prospective visit of a delegation from the Connecticut University (USA), on May 19, 2017
A delegation of the Connecticut University (UCONN, Connecticut, USA) [http://uconn.edu/], composed of Dr Jennifer Terni, Ph.D. Associate Head, Department of Literatures, Cultures and Languages, and Mr Brian Schwarz, Director of International Engineering Program at the UCONN School of Engineering, visited us on the 19th of May, 2017.
In its strategy of international development, the UCONN representatives met with members of the Federal University of Toulouse. The discussions focused on academic cooperation with the UCONN engineering school and scientific cooperation prospects with UCONN research departments, in particular the research institutes of the medical school. The opportunity of proposing internship at IPBS and CBI-Toulouse to biomedical engineering students has been discussed, beside co-tutelle PhD, joint Master and PhD opportunities, joint research projects and students exchanges.
To explore new opportunities of cooperation, Dr Isabelle Saves, Head of International cooperation, presented the research activities of the IPBS and CBI-Toulouse. The different ways of cooperation identified will be pursued in the coming weeks.
