Yoann Rombouts is awarded the International Glycoconjugate Organization (IGO) Young Glycoscientist Award 2017


He will receive the Prize at the 24th International Symposium on Glycoconjugates in Jeju, Korea.

This prestigious Prize rewards early career glycoscientists, who have made pioneering contributions in the field of Glycoscience and show great promise for further achievements. Yoann Rombouts will receive this Prize for his PhD and postdoctoral works, which dealt with mycobacterial glycoconjugates (Lille, France) and glycosylation of rheumatoid arthritis-specific autoantibodies (Leiden, The Netherlands), respectively.
