Aline Tridon is awarded the CNRS cristal medal 2023

Since 2013, Aline Tridon has been the technical manager of the IPBS animal science department, which houses more than one hundred genetically modified mouse lines. She ensures the operational management, organization and management of a team supporting more than fifty simultaneous research projects. Committed to animal welfare, Aline Tridon is a driving force in improving her laboratory’s 3R strategies to reduce, replace and refine the use of animals in research. Among her many initiatives, she has ensured the deployment of a collaborative washing robot, thus eliminating repetitive tasks for the operator while reinforcing hygiene and improving occupational health. It has proposed the implementation of a new zootechnics management software, which in turn ensures a better follow-up of the experiments in progress. Through all of her actions, Aline Tridon strongly contributes to the influence of her laboratory’s expertise.
