What a wonderful day to celebrate the 30th anniversary of IPBS!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this anniversary such a rich moment of exchange, emotion and shared experience. Thank you to the researchers, engineers, technicians, research support staff and students who bring our laboratory to life every day with passion, creativity and commitment. Thank you to our partners — CNRS, the University of Toulouse, and all our academic, industrial and charitable partners — who have supported us and placed their trust in us for many years. Thank you also to our partner foundations, whose support is essential in helping young talents thrive and enabling the discoveries of tomorrow to emerge. Thank you to everyone who joined us on June 19 — former and current colleagues, alumni, partners, friends of the laboratory and guests — for sharing this celebration with us.
This day gave us the opportunity to look back on 30 years of scientific advances, told by those who made them possible, to highlight our young teams, and to showcase our technological platforms.
Since 1996, IPBS has pursued the same ambition: to better understand the mechanisms of life in order to address major health challenges. Over three decades, IPBS has become much more than an institute: a place of convergence — between disciplines, between scales of life, between fundamental research and innovation, between training and scientific excellence.
These first thirty years have been a remarkable collective adventure… and they are only the beginning. Thank you to everyone who is writing this story with us — and here’s to the discoveries yet to come!
A huge thank you to our partners and supports.
