IPBS Welcomes Professor Martin Welch from the University of Cambridge

From 21 October until the end of December, the Institut de Pharmacologie et Biologie Structurale (IPBS) is proud to host Professor Martin Welch, from the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Cambridge (Visit the Welch Lab).

This visit, part of a visiting professorship at the University of Toulouse, underscores IPBS’ commitment to enriching its research programs and strengthening international scientific collaborations.

Professor Welch is a world-renowned expert in the study of metabolism-virulence interactions, biofilm formation, and antimicrobial resistance. During his stay, he will conduct experimental work with the Structural Biophysics team led by Dr. Mourey and engage with the broader academic community, fostering exchanges of knowledge and expertise.
This collaboration promises to spark innovative research initiatives and reinforce IPBS’ role as a hub for cutting-edge biomedical science.
