Jeanne Chauvat is awarded the public prize of the regional final of ” Ma thèse en 180s “
For this tenth regional edition of “Ma thèse en 180s”, 51 PhD students presented their thesis, including 4 students from IPBS. Three of them reached the regional final. They had just 3 minutes and one slide to present their thesis work in a comprehensible way. In this challenge, Jeanne Chauvat from Sébastien Britton’s team presented the “Functional relationship between Ku and WRN proteins”. Léa Fromont from Jean-Philippe Girard’s team presented the “Role and regulation of platelet production in the lungs” and Marine Hernandez from Catherine Muller’s team presented the “Fat cells: a pantry for prostate cancer cells”.
Jeanne Chauvat’s presentation won the public’s vote with the first prize of the public. She will represent the laboratory at the national selection for the French final in Paris.
“Ma Thèse en 180s” is a scientific outreach event that aims to promote the work of young researchers by making it accessible to the general public. It is organized by the CNRS and France Université (a consortium of 116 members including university presidents, directors of the École Normale Supérieure, INP, INSA, and general administrators).
